U of G's Set for September emails help you prepare for your classes and experiences this fall. Before classes begin next week, read these reminders to help start your semester smoothly!

Classes start Thursday, September 10. Labs and seminars begin the week of September 14. Confirm their official start dates in CourseLink.


Students who need to come to campus

If you don't need to be on campus, please stay home to help keep our community safe. We understand that you may need to come to campus for classes or labs or in special circumstances to access facilities like the library and Athletics Centre.

Before your first day of class, make sure you have completed the training course and screening form mentioned at the start of this email.

  • arrive at least 15 minutes before your classes start to line up and sanitize your learning space
  • order your textbooks and course materials and plan to have them shipped, or make an appointment to pick them up on campus
