I am a Conservation Ecologist that studies lemurs in Madagascar. My research is focussed on looking at how lemur species respond to habitat fragmentation.  I am the founder and director of Planet Madagascar a conservation education and community development organization in Madagascar. www.planetmadagascar.com. I am the co-founder of Lambas for Lemurs a conservation education project I run with Megan Shrum in Madagascar www.lambasforlemurs.com.

When I am not doing research or conservation work I lead I lead adventure travel tours in South Africa for Backroads Active Travel, Civilized Adventures and Kensington Tours. I am a International Fellow of the renowned Explorers club and I am Explorer-in-Residence with Kensington tours.
