On December 6, 1989, an armed man killed 14 women, and injured 13 other individuals at École Polytechnique de Montréal.
To remember the ones we lost and to stand strong against the gender-based discrimination of all forms, the University of Guelph School of Engineering will hold a memorial on Monday December 6, 2021.
The event is 1:45-2:15pm in Thornborough. It is open to the U of G community only. Attendees should expect to provide:
- U of G ID (student or staff card).
- Proof of vaccination.
- Confirmation email that they have completed COVID-19 daily screening.
- Contact details for contact tracing.
