Small Grants Awardees 2022

As part of Earth Day 2022 GIER will be funding six interdisciplinary research projects that tackle human-environmental crises, investing $90,000 from our Small Grants Program to U of G projects that will further environmental research.

"Every year it is inspiring to discover and support the imaginative ways in which GIER researchers across our colleges aspire to conserve our environment and improve life for humans and other species" said Dr. Madhur Anand, inaugural director of GIER. "These new projects as with the work of so many GIER researchers highlight the spirit of International Mother Earth Day.”

Check out the official University of Guelph Announcement for more details on the projects funded.
