Responsible AI for One Health: Accepting Applications 

Deadline | Monday, June 15, 2020 - 5:00 pm (EDT)  

The research and project initiatives must be led by U of G faculty but can involve internal and external collaborators. The project team should reflect the interdisciplinarity inherent to both One Health and CARE-AI. 


Trees and People: Resilience in a Changing Climate – John G. Bene Fellowship 2020

Deadline | Wednesday, July 15, 2020 - 4:00 pm (EDT)

This call is open to Canadians and permanent residents of Canada pursuing master’s or doctoral studies at a Canadian university. The award under this call will cover costs of field research conducted for a master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation in one or more countries of the Global South. 


The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place 22-26 June 2020 under the theme: ‘Beyond the crisis: clean energy for green recovery and growth’. 

To mark World Environment Day 2020, InforMEA, ECLAC, UNECE and UNEP launched a free, self-paced e-learning course on the environmental dimension of SDG 16.

Participants can complete a quiz on completion of the course to earn a certificate. The course is now live and can be accessed hereCourse syllabus

By providing various forms of support from “practicum pivots” to tuition top-ups, U of G has aimed to help graduate students continue their programs and maintain progress despite this year’s unprecedented events


Brain Food Online: Graduate Thesis Workshops

Are you working on your thesis or dissertation this summer?

Consider attending Brain Food Online, a 5-part workshop series designed for U of G graduate students and undergraduate students writing an undergraduate honours thesis. 

Beginning June 15, you can attend up to 15-hours of Brain Food Workshops. It all depends on what your interests are and how much time you have to participate.
